ABOUT US
PANKH – The Creative School was set up by Ms. Alankrita Banerjee as its Founder on January 26, 2013 in the holy city of Rishikesh amid verdant hills in the northern state of Uttarakhand. It caters to the need of underprivileged children coming from adjoining slums and rural areas. Their guardians all belong to Below Poverty Level (BPL) section. At present, the school imparts Free Education to around 200 students and has classes Nursery to 11th. Its first Batch of Class 10th has passed the Board Exams with flying colours.
We are all strangers to our own mind and its limitless possibilities, and the work of Education is to bring us to its threshold…! The process must be natural, imbibed with love, filled with intrigue and percolate even to the last person deprived of its virtues. Apart from information-gathering for a better tomorrow, it is a journey of self-exploration.
